I find that when I take a moment to meditate, pray or connect in some other way I can stay more present and open during my day.
I decided to share some examples of daily practices with you to give you some ideas of what you can do.
Sometimes we have 10 minutes, sometimes 1. So pick something that fits your day!
1. A grounding breath
Sit or stand. Take some deep breaths. In through your nose and release it all through your mouth. Do this about three times. Then breathe normally in and out of your nose. Be conscious of how the air enters and leaves your body. Breathe mindfully like this for at least a minute.
Call in Goddess in prayer and ask Her to walk with you this day. You can call on the Great Mama, Gaia, or any other specific Goddess you feel called to.
Talk to Her in your own words, just as they come to you.
3. Guidance for the day
Ask what your message for the day is and pull an oracle card, or tarot card. This card will be something you can pay attention to today, something to look out for and focus on.
Dancing is a great way to return to our bodies. This also wakes up our chakras and our energy and helps us to open up to the energies around us. Dancing just means moving your body in any way that feels good. You can dance with or without music!
You can do all of these in any combination that feels good. The main thing is that you give yourself the time to connect to yourself so that you can connect to Goddess and allow Her to flow through you.
