And today I had time.
I don´t redecorate completely, since some things always have to be there, like the rock my succulent Sister Kirsten gave me. It comes from a lake near where she lives in Canada.
I met Kirsten at the Glastonbury Goddess Conference probably around 10 years ago. We were part of a gorgeous Melissa team, helping everything run smoothly and having so much fun at the same time!
I really miss her! We are both very drawn to the Goddess Freja and we created a very powerful ceremony on the top of Glastonbury Tor late one evening. Pure magic!
Freja is a Goddess of love but also takes us to the depth of our souls, so I always think of her at Samhain as well. She is right across the Wheel as well, being the Goddess of Beltane!
At Samhain we honour the Dark Goddess. We honour Kerridwen, Hel and the Mother of the Underworld. She who stirs Her cauldron of transformation so that we can let go of what we no longer need. She holds our hand as we walk through the darkness, finally emerging changed and strengthened, with new wisdom. She is powerful, loving and fierce.
Light a candle. Call Her in. See what she has to say to you. Sit with Her and just breathe.
And allow Her to transform you. In perfect love and perfect trust.
With love and blessings, Elin
