It was an intense, yet peaceful experience. It took me a while to ground, since I was a bit nervous about holding my workshop on the Saturday. But since my workshop was all about how we find the way back to our core, to our essence it helped me ground and find my way back to my inner stillness.
Through movement, chanting, singing and meditating I guided the 30, or so, participants back to themselves. It was beautiful. It was such an honour to hold a workshop at the festival.
I also went to a few workshops myself. One on dreams and how to interpret them, by Agneta Oreheim, which helped me remember what I had learned about dream interpretation in my early twenties. We got into pairs and worked on one of our dreams for a short while, and even though we only had ten minutes it took me straight to the core. I loved it.
I also connected to the lady I was working with, which was lovely. I think we will meet up again. Maybe work together.
I had some fantastic laughs and mad moments with my dear sister Margitta Wigren. A horrible stepping-on-a-huge-snail-in-the-dark-incident still make me cringe and laugh.
Another favourite was the concert with Jana Runnalls on the Saturday evening. Lots of singing and dancing under the summer night sky. Wonderful!
It was so lovely to have some of our Avalon/Glastonbury people there too! Erin McCauliff (who teaches the Priestess of Avalon training), Duncan, Heloise, Jana and Oshia.
The festival was held in a beautiful spot, right near a lake. The path through the woods down to the water was just magical. Walking it was pure peace and purification.
I wrote on my Facebook page the other day that when people come together like this, with the intention to learn, the be open and to connect. To be true to themselves and not hide behind masks... To smile at each other both with our faces and hearts... To connect with the earth, nature, each other and ourselves....Wow. Pure magic. How beautiful it is.
A big thank you goes out to Ania and Magnus Munay, and Lola Ravenstar who made it all possible.
I brought this feeling back with me. A bit stronger that when I left home. And I spread it around. I bless everyone with love. I treat everyone with respect.
I choose love. I choose peace. I choose kindness.
May you be blessed,
